Webb25 sep. 2016 · Click the Monitor tab. You should see your monitors refresh rate. Limit FPS for Sims with with Nvidia Control Panel. There may be something similar for AMD cards. You can cap the frame rate with Nvidia Control Panel. Doing this will cap it at 60 FPS. Example Shown is of Sims 3. Click images to see larger view. WebbI just installed Eco lifestyle. Whenever I play the game and switch to buy mode from live mode, and vice versa, I get a MASSIVE fps drop. I have a pretty high-end PC. Everything goes really smooth in live mode. Ultra settings, 60fps, no problems whatsoever. Then, when I switch to buy mode, I get a MASSIVE fps drop to 10 fps and it stays that way.

WebbMy girlfriend's computer seems to only want to run Sims 4 around 70-80fps on 1080p. This seems to be a bit low. She currently has a Ryzen 2600x+3070. Max usage on the 2600 is about 50-60 (up to 70 max single core utilization) and gpu max usage is in the 30-40%. Nothing even close to thermal throttling. WebbFrame rate and sound design are both busted on PS4. during the Boss fight on the inverse fractions mission (I think) the frames drop like crazy. It also seems like audio isnt keeping up because of this. But for reasons I can't … WebbSolid 60fps, except sometimes when exiting build mode or loading a lot, it will drop down to 15fps, and stay there until I go back to manage worlds/the main menu. It's not consistent though, and I can't reproduce it, its essentially random whether it lags or not. It used to do it rarely, but it's definitely become more common since patch 1.63.
