WebDec 8, 2007 · I had a Gorf upright with a similar problem once. I found it to be a weak power supply. There was enough voltage to power the board but the +5 for the joystick actually comes out of the board and the extra loss was enough to not turn on the logic on the joystick. You might want to check the voltage right at the PCB on the joystick.
