The block will be so soft that when drilling into it it will feel as though it's just a slightly gritty insulation material. No need for masonry drills, just a standard woodworking bit.

WebJun 29, 2015 · You can loose 15-20mm going through the bracket and plaster board/skim. Good quality brown/equiv size plugs will be fine in most cases.
