WebJul 25, 2015 · First, just take the fuse out and pop it back in, maybe it will fix the problem. From there, I think it could either be a faulty switch, or faulty seat cushion heating element. Dealer may fix it under warranty. WebFeb 25, 2014 · If heated only, find the grey four wire connector underneath the seat at the front. Turn on the heater and check for voltage on the red wire. If you have voltage there then the modules and circuits up to the seat are ok and power is making it to the element. Next check for voltage on the black wire. WebSep 13, 2016 · Thanks in advance for any help. Pretty common problem, actually. The heating element wires tend to burn themselves out and need to be spliced. There are a few threads in some of the other areas that tell you how to fix it, but you basically pull up the seat cover and solder in a new section of wire where it is burned.
